Rich in Bayou Land & Acadian Culture

We love locally owned hotels and this was a jewel. It’s a family owned property that used to be a Holiday Inn and has been upgraded over the years into a very nice property. I especially like being able to unload my car in front of my room.
The rooms are clean, fresh and comfortable. The bedding and linens are newer and the bath was spotless The breakfast was much better than expected; fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, fruit, waffles, juice and more An unexpected surprise was a complimentary light dinner during the week days and this evening we had brisket, chow mien, vegetables, salad and desert. Yes, would stay here again and the price was much less than the chains; a real value.
